A strong aromatic flavour with a sweet little purple/pink flower, the Society Garlic Flower is best used in savoury dishes.
Use as a whole flower, or by using the individual petals for decoration and incorporation into dishes.
Ideas for use include:
- Make a savoury floral spread by finely chopping and mixing with soft cheese
- Top sourdough, grilled meats or vegetables
- Top a grilled scallop with a delicate flower
- Garnish soups or starters with the whole flower
- Infuse vinegars or oils to make dressings with a mild garlic flavour
