High in protein, the Saltbush leaves are a nutritious option for incorporating into meals.
Dried, crushed leaves can be a substitute for salt or used as a salt rub for meats
The leaves pair well with roast lamb
Fry them as a crunchy snack or addition to salads
Blanch the leaves to use in salads or stir-fries
Add leaves to a pizza for some bush food pizzaz!
